As Co-Design Director for my consulting club, we wanted to create a hoodie that would represent us across campus in a way that everyone could rock. I came up with several designs, aiming for a neutral, stylish look that anyone could wear, no matter their gender. The goal was to make something that felt inclusive, modern, and professional—something that really reflected our club’s vibe while bringing everyone together.
I created a bunch of different hoodie designs and then had the club members vote on their favorite colors and styles. Before we opened it up to everyone, the board members (myself included) narrowed it down to a few solid options. After that, we let the whole club have their say and pick the final design.
I measured my own hoodies to figure out the perfect placement for the front and back designs. Once I had everything lined up, I made sure to give the manufacturer all the details they needed to bring the design to life. I measured everything carefully and sent over the dimensions for the front, back, and sleeve logos. To make sure nothing got missed, I highlighted the key info in red so it was crystal clear. It was all about getting the design just right!
The manufacturer even sent over photos to show how the pieces were coming together, which was super helpful to make sure everything looked as planned. Once everything was finalized, they made the hoodies and shipped them out. When the big shipment arrived, I was in charge of distributing all the hoodies to the club members. It was so rewarding to see everyone’s faces light up when they got theirs! Everyone was stoked with how they turned out, and it felt awesome to see the design come to life in such a big way.
